Regents Park - Baker Street - Camden Market

Just south of Regent's Park, Baker Street is a busy spot best known for its connection to Sherlock Holmes, who lived at a fictional Baker Street address and for its Baker Street tube station. 6Pleasant
Good: The location is excellent.
The staff on arrival were wonderful.
The check in process was efficient.
The room was functional for friends with a nice seating areas.
Bad: It was not pleasant in the hot weather conditions. The room was like a sauna and even with the fans, I couldn't sleep due to the heat and humidity on the top floor.
I stayed out as much as possible to avoid being in the room.
The stairs are not great for anyone with injuries which I didn't foresee, even though they offered to take my bags upstairs.
The breakfast was very average and could do with an update.
A fridge would be beneficial, anything I bought melted, and it would have helped if I could keep my water cold - although the staff did make an ice bucket available.

5Disappointed
Good: Nothing. Very dated and worn. Holes in the carpet of room 19. Cracked bathroom tiles and rusty furnishings in bathroom. Room felt dirty. Fusty smell. Shower over bath which had hot water coming from the cold tap so no way of mixing the water to get right temp. Was glad to check out. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Bad: Will not stay again sadly. Huge shame as very handy location but feels like it’s been forgotten.
