8Would stay there again.
Good: Clean and comfortable
Bad: Tiny little table that was only big enough for kettle and drinks - not enough room to use a lap top. Would have been great to have a small fridge in the room.

6Basic hotel if you just...
Good: - Good value for money (but basic)
I stayed in room 51. The staff at the entry were friendly. It's a low end hotel - looking a little tired - but you get what you pay for and it was a quarter of the price of the hotel where an event was taking place that i was attending that evening.
- Wifi
I had to dial into a work videoconference. Their internet connection was excellent
Bad: It was a baking hot night and the aircon wasn't too loud / too cold - it was basic but it just about did what i needed. TV was broken in the room (no signal) and they didn't provide breakfast.

6Pleasant
Good: The staff is friendly and helpful, although I am pretty sure they are themselves not that enthusiastic about the hotel. The location is fantastic, a few steps away from Hyde Park and about 10 minutes by foot to Paddington station. The room was mostly clean and had a big window, in proportion to the size of the room.
Bad: I think it's kind of a trend to find a pube in a hotel room's bathroom in London, it wasn't my first, nor will it be my last, so that's fine. The room (tiny, but that was to be expected for the price) was next to some sort of air duct on the roof, which supplied a constant rattling (not during the night, though). The tv was broken, but the staff actually found another room for me when it couldn't be fixed, I was just too lazy to switch rooms for one night. The electrical outlets are a bit tricky, you'll have to put the kettle on the floor or the chair for the cord to reach one. I have had worse beds, but I could feel seperate springs in my back (I do have a bad back, to be fair).
