8A great place to stay to be out of the hussle and bustle of Chamonix!
Good: This is a well-kept hotel just outside Chamonix. The staff was excellent as was the room itself.
Bad: I wish the hotel had some less expensive lunch and dinner options. Without these, we were forced to go into Chamonix where the options are OK.

Good: Our 2nd visit to to stay at the Excelsior in 6 years, and we loved coming back.
Pool deck and view are amazing (though pool a little chilly).
